Oskar sings the role of Aeneas as Festival Voices collaborate with DJ/music producer Nico Bentley and the Pencil Collective to present Dido and Aeneas in a reimagined version, mixing Purcell’s iconic score with an injection of bespoke electronic dance music.

This brand new version of one of opera’s most famous works blurs the lines between classical and contemporary performance in exhilarating fashion. Featuring a live baroque ensemble, eleven vocalists and a dose of playfulness, this cross-genre collaboration challenges conventions and inspires the imagination.
