Oskar returns to Latitude Festival to perform Tarik O'Regan's exhilarating work The Ecstasies Above as part of Festival Voices.

DJ Nico Bentley, 16 singers, a string quartet and a company of dancers led by choreographer Lily Howkins have been brought together to create this unique presentation for Latitude. Exploring the visceral and intellectual crossover between classical music and electronica, this unique experience will enlighten, surprise and stir the ecstasies within.

The Ecstasies Above was commissioned by Yale Institute Of Sacred Music and premiered by Yale Schola Cantorum in 2007. Directed by Gregory Batsleer, Louis Hartshorn and Tania Harrison.
