After the huge success of their all Mozart and Beethoven symphonies weekends, The Angel Orchestra will perform all four Brahms Symphonies over one February weekend, culminating in a performance of Ein deutsches Requiem.
This is a fundraising weekend with 50% of the proceeds going to the Angel Orchestra and 50% to the fantastic charity Music Fund (www.musicfund.eu), a charity that collects musical instruments, repairs them as necessary and sends them to its partner music schools in Palestine, Israel, Mozambique, DR Congo, South Africa, Morocco, Haïti and Belgium. It also trains instrument technicians from those same countries to enable the instruments to be maintained.
